Joe Filippoli

Mr. Joseph J. Filippoli is Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder of GalenusCare, leading operations, technology, and organizational strategy to advance personalized medication management. With more than 30 years of leadership in healthcare technology and operations, he has built and led high-performing teams for award-winning, nationally recognized companies, guiding them from start-up through rapid growth and sustained expansion. 

As Founder and President of JF Technology Advisors, he has provided strategic technology advisory services as a fractional CIO and C-suite consultant, leading enterprise-wide technology transformations, guiding cybersecurity strategies, and aligning IT operations with business goals to drive efficiency, compliance, and growth. He previously served as CIO at Swift Medical, where he led a 130-member team, reduced technology spend by $6 million, and stabilized operations to support scaling. He was also the founding CIO and CTO at Tabula Rasa HealthCare, Associate CIO at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and SVP & CTO at Hospice Pharmacia / ExcelleRx, where he oversaw technology operations for a national hospice medication management company serving over 85,000 patients in 49 states. 

Mr. Filippoli earned his MBA from Drexel University. He completed 6 years of active service in the United States Navy with a focus on military information technology.
