Samira K. Beckwith is a distinguished leader and strategist in healthcare, recognized for her transformative impact on hospice and palliative care. As CEO of Hope Healthcare, she expanded the organization from a Hospice focus to a care continuum with additional programs and services, increasing census from 200 to 4,000 patients. She has served as Chairperson of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Association, Chair of the National Hospice Foundation, founding President of the Florida PACE Providers Association, and Co-founder of the National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation. She has shared her expertise at the White House Conference on Aging, Senate Special Committee on Aging, and before the House Judiciary subcommittee. Ms. Beckwith earned her BA in Sociology and MSW from The Ohio State University, where she was later named Alumni Medalist of the Year. She was also awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
