
Implementation Director (Western Division)
Position Summary
This is a client-facing leadership role to support end-to-end onboarding of new client organizations for a national precision clinical and pharmacy services company. This role owns the implementation lifecycle from contract signature through go-live coordinating internal pharmacy operations, clinical, IT, and staffing workstreams while serving as the primary point of contact for the client's leadership and interdisciplinary team (IDT). The ideal candidate combines project management discipline with working knowledge of PACE regulations, pharmacy, with interest in learning about the communities where clients and their patients are to support enhanced outcomes of care. This is a high-autonomy, high-visibility role requiring frequent on-site presence at client locations.

Status: Full-time, 40+ hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Implementation Planning & Execution

- Own the implementation project plan for each assigned client, including milestone schedules, dependency tracking, risk registers, and weekly status reporting.
- Manage multiple concurrent implementations across different states and go-live timelines.
- Develop and maintain Gantt charts, kickoff decks, and readiness checklists; escalate schedule risks and downstream conflicts proactively.
- Coordinate parallel workstreams including client and patient education, facility/equipment readiness, data/EHR integration, etc..
- Lead/support go-live events on-site, including first-fill oversight, medication reconciliation, and post-launch activities.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary implementation contact for PACE executive directors, medical directors, DONs, and IDT members during the implementation period.
- Facilitate kickoff meetings, recurring implementation calls, and on-site working sessions
- Translate client operational needs (delivery windows, packaging preferences, formulary considerations, IDT workflows) into internal requirements.
- Manage expectations and communicate transparently when timelines, staffing, or regulatory factors shift.
Cross-Functional & Operational Support
- Collaborate with IT on EHR/eRx connectivity, interface testing, and data migration.
- Document lessons learned and contribute to playbooks, SOPs, and implementation toolkits to improve repeatability.
- Support transition to partnership liaison
- Attend new business and client liaison support meetings upon request.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, pharmacy, or related field — or equivalent experience
- Experience in administration, implementation, project management
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of operational workflow
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to executive stakeholders
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project) and Excel
- Ability to travel up to 50% nationwide, including overnight travel and occasional weekend go-live support
- Ability to fly commercially
Preferred
- Direct experience with PACE programs or knowledge of 42 CFR Part 460
- Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) or clinical background (within 90-180 days)
- PMP, CAPM, or Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience with EHR/pharmacy system integrations (e.g., FrameworkLTC, PioneerRx, Prime Suite, or similar)
- Experience supporting regulatory readiness
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Remote-based with up to 50% domestic travel to client sites, pharmacies, and company locations
- Extended periods of computer work; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs during site setup and go-live activities
- Flexibility to support go-live events that may occur outside standard business hours
