Maria E. Zamora

Maria E. Zamora is a nationally recognized leader in aging services and PACE program innovation, with nearly three decades of experience spanning nonprofit healthcare, insurance, and integrated care delivery. As President and CEO of the Center for Elders’ Independence, she has led significant organizational transformation—nearly doubling enrollment, expanding capacity through multiple new facilities, and achieving strong financial performance year over year.

Before joining CEI, Ms. Zamora held senior executive roles at AltaMed Health Services and InnovAge, where she spearheaded major expansion initiatives, cultivated key regulatory partnerships, and advanced innovative models of care for older adults. A former Board Chair of the National PACE Association and current Chair of CalPACE, she is widely sought after for expertise in senior care strategy, policy, and health equity.
